Four Seasons Safari Lodge
Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti seamlessly blends luxury with the natural landscape. One of the few resorts located entirely within the Serengeti, the Lodge features an infinity pool overlooking a watering hole frequented by elephants. After long days of air travel and hot, dusty game drives, visit the Spa to rehydrate, restore and re-energize. Select from the menu of Serengeti-inspired skincare and massage treatments, tapping the benefits of local plants, minerals and healing rituals.
Contemporary African décor features four-poster beds with mosquito netting, as well as local textiles and artwork - all enhanced by modern comforts such as air conditioning and high-speed Internet access. Step outside to the elevated, open-air sundeck with a direct view of the plains and enjoy a private audience with any lions or elephants that might be passing by. The excitement continues at the Lodge's acclaimed Discovery Centre, the first conservation research and interactive education platform of its kind in East Africa. This is a great place to learn about African culture and history. Guests can get to know the local Maasai people and become involved in socially responsible programs, such as those that help local schools and support wildlife conservation.
Dine in style in the Serengeti wilderness. With exceptional views at every turn - the sweeping plains, a wildlife watering hole, the pristine infinity pool and the dramatic circular firepit - the atmosphere at our indoor and outdoor dining venues is every bit as memorable as the expertly prepared African-inspired cuisine. Choose from an enticing variety of drink and meal options at the three restaurants, the bar and a wine cellar. Restaurants are open on varying days to offer every guest the opportunity to experience and enjoy the unique dining venues.
Contact us if you would like to upgrade to one of the terrace suites, villas or presidential suite.
Flights by Light Aircraft
Travelling into and out of bush airstrips is an exciting adventure. It allows you to fly over some of the most scenic landscapes in Africa, and offers a unique perspective from what you will have seen from your safari vehicle. Specially selected Cessna Grand Caravans tend to operate the flights, due to their versatile nature and ability to handle bush conditions with ease. Please note that soft bags are reccommended for these flights due to limited luggage capacity. Weight allowance for luggage is 20kg per person unless additional luggage allowance is purchased in advance.
