Day 1: Arrival at the Gran Melia in Arusha
We will meet you when you arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Domestic Airport and transfer you to the Gran Melia. Arrive at this spectacular property in the heart of Arusha, with stunning views of Mt. Meru.
Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel and its facilities. Perhaps you will spend some time by the pool? Enjoy the spa? Or go out exploring the city?
Overnight at this oasis of calm, surrounded by luxury not before experienced in Arusha.
Day 2: Full day in Arusha
After breakfast, visit the Arusha National Park for a fun day of safari and adventure with a picnic lunch. Arusha National Park is the closest national park to Arusha town and only a 1 hour drive from the city. The park has a beautiful forest ecosystem with the Momela Lakes along with views of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
The forests contain a wealth of birds and other animals, like the beautiful bushbuck easily glimpsed in the grades between the ancient cedar trees, or the black and white colobus monkeys climbing along their branches. Other animals found in the park include buffalo, hippo, reedbuck, waterbuck, elephant, giraffe, baboon, bushpig, sykes monkey, vervet monkey, mongoose and warthog.
Return back to Gran Melia for your overnight accommodation.
Day 3: Departure day
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. We will transfer you back to the airport, for your flight out.
