Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Make you way to the airport in Dar es Salaam for your flight from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro.
Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha.
The name Tarangire is derived from the Tarangire River which provides permanent water for wildlife. In addition to a wide variety of mammals, over 300 species of birdlife have been recorded in this park.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full day game viewing in this wonderful park, famous for its elephant population and magical baobab tree landscapes.

Day 3: Tarangire to Arusha
Depart for Arusha with an optional stop over at the Cultural Heritage center souvenir shop and art gallery. On a clear day you will see Mt. Meru standing tall over the city of Arusha.
Arrive at the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will enjoy a meal in the lush green gardens. After lunch you may have some time to visit Shanga, an uplifting local community social enterprise which employs people with disabilities to create unique handmade gifts.
Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam.

Lemala Mpingo Ridge
Lemala Mpingo Ridge sits on top of an escarpment with sweeping views across the perennial Tarangire River and valley below. Guests at Lemala Mpingo Ridge can enjoy a real sense of wilderness and excellent game viewing. Each of the 15 spacious tented suites have been carefully positioned to maximize not only the sensational views over Tarangire but to also take advantage of cooling breezes during hot weather. They feature en-suite bathrooms, private decks, and sunken outside lounges that convert to afternoon siesta beds. A special feature is the private outside bathtub - perfect for soothing the soul and washing away the African dust after a day on safari.
The elevated main lodge has a large lounge and bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a spa and swimming pool. Sundowners and early morning walks are some of the activities guests can look forward to during their stay.
