Balloon Safari over Serengeti

Enjoy an incredible safari flying over the Serengeti National Park, boosting enchanting scenery and uninterrupted views on an unforgettable, extraordinary adventure. Allowing you to absorb the magnitude of the size of the park with amazing opportunities for stunning photographic moments on this miraculous glide over the Serengeti Ecosystem.

You will be picked up from the camp / lodge by a guide at a pre specified time around 0500 to arrive at the launch area just before 6am. This gives you enough time to enjoy some hot Tanzanian coffee with home made cookies. A mobile toilet and free high speed Wi-Fi are provided for your use at the launch site. The pilot will brief you on the safety measures, launch & landing procedure, safety belts, and what to expect while the balloon is being inflated. Witness the sky changing colours with the peering sun while you look on the balloon inflation.

When the Captain feels all is ready for you to board he will signal to commence boarding. Just after you elevate from the ground, you will enjoy a great African sunrise. During the flight you will have an uninterrupted birds eye view of the vast Serengeti plains. The pilot will try to spot wildlife for you and lower the balloon for better viewing. Enjoy the tranquil glide where you hear every little sound of nature. The flight usually lasts 1 hour, plus or minus 15mins depending on the weather. Upon landing, once you disembark, you will enjoy a champagne celebration.

After this you will be driven to our carefully selected bush breakfast area, welcomed by our butlers to enjoy a scrumptious plated breakfast.

After your breakfast, you will be issued with your certificates, and then returned to the Visitors Centre to meet up with your guide to continue with your itinerary by 0900.
